Curve analysis system : Deviation analysis for measurement and normal curves data.

CurveAnalysis-- curves analysis software

Curve analysis provides tools for curves deviation analysis. Users can be compared the curve measurement data and design values, show the analysis graphics, set the deviation magnifications, the analysis of the data print, save as system file or Microsoft Word or Excel files, can also be measured data directly transfer as a design value.

Click【curve analysis 】icon in MetroImage2.5D to actives curve analysis mode.

Curve analysis operation interface.

  1. Ffunction tools bar
  2. System icon tool, provide graphics zoom and fan tool and curves analysis data print、file save and open. Shown as follow:

    Exit:Close and exit curve analysis function.

    Edit:Cancel graphics zoom and pan function select.

    Graphics zoom and pan: Move、 Zoom in、 Zoom out、 area zoom、 Show all,Another use the mouse wheel can also be scaled curve graph.

    Print:Print the curve analysis data and graphics, or save it as a Microsoft word or excel file.
    Open:Open the system file.

    Save:Storage curve analysis data include nominal and measurement data. The file extension is *. cal.

    Delete All:Clear all design data and measured data.

    No. of decimal:set the effective number bit of decimal.

  3. Coordination Mode and Grid line setting
  4. Coordinate system mode:Curve analysis provides of X_Y and A_R mode, click the drop-down list to select the mode.

    Coordinates grids settings: Set the horizontal and vertical coordinate axis label, including axes name, coordinate data and the coordinates grid are displayed, coordinate grid pitch, choose to set by their own or automatic.

     

  5. Processed the Curve’s Nominal data
  6. Nominal data list box:Show all nominal curves’ name.

    Right-click pop-up in list box:Nominal curve’s data edit and setting.

    Delete All:Erase all list items. The delete icon is same as function.

    Delete:Delete the selected item.

    New:Add new nominal curves to list. You can type curves point data as X_Y or A_R data. The detail see the create curves nominal data.

    Edit:Add new、insert、modify or delete curves point data.

    Color setting:Modified curves analysis graphics line color.

     

    Create curves nominal data

    The establishment of nominal curves data is offers two ways to establish. 1.Direct type curves point data.。2. Transfer measurement data to be nominal data. 

    Method 1:Direct type curves point’s data

    You can direct type curves point data by X、Y coordination or Angle and radius two mode. See as follow:

    1. Selected coordinate system mode X_Y or A_R.
    2. Click right-click pop-up item【New】in nominal data list box.
    3. Selected the new list item [Curve1], then click right-click pop-up item【Edit】.
    4. Click【New】and then type nominal data in curve editor. You can click 【Ok】to save change and exit curve editor. You can entry curve editor to modify curves nominal data at any time by the add new、insert and delete function.

    Method2:Measurement data transfer to nominal data

    1. Selected the list item that you want to transfer it from the measurement data list.
    2. Click transfer function icon . It will automatic to transfer it and add to nominal data list.
  7. Curves measurement data import and setting
  8. Import measurement data

    In MetroImage2.5D image measurement system, you must to measured curve element. when completed, click the curve analysis icon , this time asking for the measured data import to the curve analysis program, see as shown, if you choose import, will MetroImage2.5D the all curves elements, import to the measurement data list box.

     

    Curve measurement data setting and operation

    Delete all:Erase all measurement data list. Delete the item, you can select item then type keyboard delete key.

    transfer to nominal:The selected measurement curve, transfer to the design value; and add to the nominal data list.

    Colors setting:Measurement curves color setting.

    Measurement data fit to design:When the user is only concerned about the curve shape, the nominal and the measurement coordinate system is not in the same location, this function can be reconcile the measurement curve and the nominal curve, but measurement curves raw data will recalculated therefore change. 

    Example:

    Select the Nominal data Volution3 and measurement data Volution1 compare analysis, because coordinate system is not in the same position, impact analysis. You can use [Measurement data fit to design]; the measurement data will be recalculated and fit to nominal curve position.

    Example:(Measurement data Volution3 fit to nominal data Volution1)

    1. Selected curves nominal data - Volution1。

    2. Selected curves measurement data Volution3.
    3. Click【Measurement data fit to design】icon

    4. Click pop-up dialog box【Yes】command, that will starting modify Colution1 measurement data and fit to nominal data.
    5. Result of Volution3 fit to Volution1.

    6. Checked【Data processing】then settled curves analysis condition.
  9. Curves analysis condition operate and setting
  10. When you to do the curve deviation analysis, first you must from the nominal and measurement data list, respective select the curve for analysis, see as follows.

    1. From the nominal and measurement data list, respective select the curve Volution1 and Volution3.
    2. Check 【Data processing】and setting value.

    Data processing setting and example

    1. Devotion amplifier:In curves analysis graphics, the graphics deviation magnifications options.

    2. Upper:Upper tolerance limit.

    3. Lower:Lower tolerance limit.

    4. Starting axis:Set the curves analysis start axis.
    5. The following is the curves measurement data Volution2 and nominal data Volution1 compare analysis results. The starting axis is X and Y, starting position=0, other settings unchanged.

      Example 1:The curves compare analysis results, which starting axis is X and starting position=0.

      Example 2:The curves compare analysis results, which starting axis is Y and starting position=0.

       

    6. Starting position:Set the start point coordinates value.
    7. The following is the curves measurement data Volution2 and nominal data Volution1 compare analysis results. The starting axis is Y and starting position=0 and -17.5, other settings unchanged, the curves compare analysis results. 

      Example 1:The curves compare analysis results, which starting axis is Y and starting position=0.

      Example2:The curves compare analysis results, which starting axis is Y and starting position=-17.5.

    8. Get point direction:Set the curves divide direction. According to different modes, you can choose X, Y, A, R and normal (Nor) direction.

    9. Get point pitch:Set the pitch of take the calculation point.
    10. The following is the curves measurement data Volution2 and nominal data Volution1 compare analysis results. The get points direction is X, Y and normal (Nor) direction, other settings unchanged.

      Example1:Y as a starting axis, starting position at Y=0. Divide the curve by the X axis direction and pitch is 5mm to take the point and compare the point’s error results of curve.

      Example 2:Y as a starting axis, starting position at Y=0. Divide the curve by the Y axis direction and pitch is 5mm to take the point and compare the point’s error results of curve.

      Example 3:Y as a starting axis, starting position at Y=0. Divide curve by the curves normal direction and pitch as 5mm to take the point and compare the point’s error results of curve.

    11. Point No.:From the starting position set the number of data points calculated.
